Chris Wanitshka

Business Development Manager

Chris Wanitshka, Business Development Manager, started his staffing career working for boutique staffing firms in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. Quickly, Chris moved into technical recruiting. He joined SimSTAFF as junior Recruiter and in 2013 was promoted its Business Development Manager. Chris acts as a liaison between his clients’ needs and SimSTAFF’s capabilities. His responsibilities include new business development, marketing, account management, and mentoring junior Account Managers. Chris’ client portfolio includes many of today’s leading aerospace, gaming, and defense companies.

With recruiting dollars being stretched thin, finding the right employee or consultant quickly is paramount for today’s hyper competitive global economy. Having spent much of his career in a role that was focused on client support, Chris knows how to gather requirements in a quick and efficient manner. Chris has a proven ability to understand his clients’ needs, processes, and knows how to quickly provide critical resources; this offers his clients a competitive advantage when working mission critical programs.

A graduate of Stetson University, Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Political Science and minoring in Sociology. While attending university he interned with the Honorable Judge James R. Clayton and with State House Representative Dennis Baxley. Chris was the founder of Stetson University’s Mock Trial Team, Vice President of Pi Alpha Delta, Member of Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society, and Treasurer of Patriot Politics.

Chris enjoys being a proud father, a martial arts enthusiast, and a car aficionado.

Patrick Callahan

Director of Operations

Patrick Callahan, Director of Operations with SimStaff Technical Services, began his industry career with national recruiting agency Elite Technical. In his 9 year tenure with Elite, Mr. Callahan served in roles ranging from Technical Recruiter and Sales Engineer to Business Development and Recruiting Manager. Mr. Callahan supported the general Aerospace and Defense sector as well as various commercial and IT clients.

Mr. Callahan joined SimSTAFF Technical Services in May of 2007 as the Director of Recruiting and Facility Security Officer. In 2010 he transitioned to Director of Operations where he oversees the day to day operations and strategic planning for the company. He is heavily involved in the recruitment efforts and candidate outreach, as well as being actively involved in the local Simulation and Training community. Since joining SimSTAFF, has worked primarily in modeling, simulation, and training and through SimSTAFF’s approach to staffing via knowledge based recruiting. Mr. Callahan strives to make SimSTAFF the modeling, simulation, gaming and training industries’ primary choice for staffing support, services, and solutions.

Mr. Callahan is a graduate from the University of Central Florida and currently holds a United States Coast Guard Captain’s License. He is active in several local community groups and enjoys fishing, hunting, and the outdoors.

Craig Hicks

Director of Sourcing/Senior Recruiter

SimSTAFF Technical Services Director of Recruiting, Craig Hicks, began his career as a recruiter with Elite Technical Services. During his 10 year tenure with Elite Technical Services, Mr. Hicks rose to Senior Recruiter and specialized in the recruitment and placement of candidates in the Aerospace and Defense sector.

Mr. Hicks brought his extensive experience in the staffing industry to SimSTAFF in 2008 as its Senior Recruiter. In addition to his cradle to grave recruiting experience, Mr. Hicks also specializes in mentoring, problem solving, and candidate/customer relationship building skills. In 2010, he became the Director of Recruiting for all offices. His responsibilities include candidate sourcing and screening, mentoring junior recruiters, client generation and maintenance. Mr. Hicks industry focus is primarily on engineering support services within the Aerospace and Department of Defense Simulation and Modeling sector.

Mr. Hicks is a graduate of Florida State University, and enjoys golf and fishing.
